  • Terpenes are part of natural essential oils and play a key role in aroma, flavour, and overall experience. Their composition can influence the unique characteristics of different herbal blends and contribute significantly to a smooth, enjoyable session.

Glass tips allow for a thicker roll and more stable burn. A wider diameter slows down ember decay and helps distribute heat more evenly, leading to gentler temperatures. This can help preserve delicate aromatic compounds and enhance flavour during use.

  • The right temperature is key when it comes to releasing the natural essential oils from herbal material without burning them. If the temperature is too high, these compounds can degrade and produce unwanted byproducts. Too low, and they may not fully activate or release before combustion occurs. Maintaining an optimal burn temperature ensures a smooth and flavourful experience.

Temperature is also influenced by your habits - whether you inhale gently or forcefully, take long or short draws, and how you hold the rolled herb. These small adjustments can help you fine-tune the experience and preserve the delicate aromas in your blend.

  • That’s partially true! Glass tips don’t filter out harmful substances like paper or activated charcoal filters do. Instead, they allow for the perfect distillation of essential oils and cannabinoids without burning them. This results in a smoke that's not only richer in flavour but also cleaner, since burning oils usually creates harmful byproducts that can be dangerous to health.

Meaning, if the combustion is good, there is not much left that needs to be filtered!

  • Black Ash can indicate that temperatures were too high, causing the plant material to combust before the essential oils were released, resulting in harmful substances. Or a temperature that is too low, preventing the full release of essential oils. Either way it was a bad combustion and waste of money.

White Ash suggests that the plant material was heated at the optimal temperature, allowing the essential oils and other compounds to be efficiently released without burning them. It may also indicate a higher mineral content in the plant material.

This means that with good herbs, you can get both White Ash and Black Ash - it all comes down to the combustion.

If its Black Ash nomatter what, then its probably bad herbs - dont use that boof!
